FBI Portland honors the Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams. The canine therapy teams are part of the nonprofit Dove Lewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital. With 90 volunteer teams—each made up of a dog and a committed handler—the program brings respite and relief to thousands of vulnerable adults and children, and to FBI personnel, each year. The teams work with at-risk youth, crime victims, convicted criminals, and others.
