FBI Mobile honors Dr. Cindy Gipson. The associate director of crisis services at AltaPointe Health Systems, Dr. Gipson works where mental illness and criminal justice intersect. In 2022, she provided mental health crisis training for all of Mobile, Alabama’s city police force—over 500 officers. She also developed a treatment-based sentencing program for the city's courts.
