FBI Seattle honors Sean Michael Smith, an active member of the FBI Citizens Academy Alumni Association. Mr. Smith works with the supervisory special agent who oversees Seattle’s Violent Crimes Against Children Squad to disseminate information to the community and has made countless presentations about human trafficking to businesses, nonprofits, and schools. He also volunteers for FBI recruiting and career events.

Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
