FBI San Juan honors the Biological and Chemical Emergencies Laboratory, which processes samples of suspicious material quickly. The lab also includes the FBI in all scientific, governmental, and emergency responder community-related events. Through this collaboration, the FBI and the lab have trained local responders, which helps protect the United States against biological, chemical, radiological, and other hazardous materials.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
