2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

FBI San Antonio honors Ransomed Life. The nonprofit cares for minor victims of commercial sexual exploitation and helps prevent future victims. Ransomed Life provides victims weekly one-on-one counseling and spiritual, mental, behavioral, and physical care, and works with clients to prioritize education. In cooperation with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, Ransomed Life educates organizations about sex trafficking.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
