FBI Pittsburgh honors the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation. An offshoot of the professional hockey team, the foundation aims to improve the lives of the region’s youth. The foundation was part of an education working group of the FBI’s Heroin Outreach Prevention and Education initiative and provided game tickets for students involved in an opioid awareness campaign.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
