Miami – Daniel Puder
2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient
FBI Miami honors Daniel Puder, the founder of My Life My Power. The nonprofit opened an academy for students in grades six through 12 in the Miami area last year. Most had been expelled from public schools and many live in a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area. Mr. Puder also organizes activities that promote positive relationships between students and law enforcement.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
