Louisville – She Became
2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient
FBI Louisville honors She Became, an after-school program started in 2016 by then-16-year-old Nico Thom that serves girls in grades three through five. It is run entirely by high school and college females. She Became encourages girls to use their strong voices and opinions to become strong leaders. Female special agents visit the program as living examples of strong, professional women.

Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service.
