Jackson – Junior Auxiliary of Tupelo
2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient
FBI Jackson honors the Junior Auxiliary of Tupelo. In 2019, the auxiliary led seventh-grade boys in a program titled W.A.V.E., which stands for Wisdom, Attitude, Virtue, and Enthusiasm. The program offered activities to promote self-esteem, positive attitudes, and health. The Auxiliary also organized SHINE, which encourages girls entering middle school to be strong, healthy, independent, nonjudgmental, and empowered.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
