FBI Indianapolis honors Gary McKay. Through his vigilant efforts, thousands of people in Indiana and Ohio have learned what to do if they encounter an active-shooter event. Mr. McKay also developed and offers Save a Cop, a free class that teaches officers how to save themselves and others injured in a shooting.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
