FBI Houston honors Tim Miller, who founded Texas EquuSearch 16 years after his daughter disappeared. The nonprofit conducts horse-mounted search-and-recovery efforts for lost and missing persons. Texas EquuSearch has conducted more than 1,800 searches in 42 states in the U.S. and abroad. Its volunteers have located more than 400 missing people and recovered the remains of nearly 300 people.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
