FBI El Paso honors Mary Yañez, who leads by example. She has held different leadership roles in the El Paso community, and focuses much of her energy on ensuring equal rights for all people of El Paso. Ms. Yañez has created numerous community programs to provide educational opportunities for the underserved and to help youth, women, and the elderly.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
