FBI Denver honors Susan Smith, who has shown unwavering dedication to the employees and mission of the FBI. Ms. Smith has supported numerous office priorities, including exposing the dangers of the opioid epidemic, combating human trafficking, protecting national security, and safeguarding intellectual property. She also assists the FBI in identifying potential participants for both the Citizens Academy and Teen Academy.

Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
