FBI Chicago honors the Chicago Eco House. Working in the city’s most blighted neighborhoods, Chicago Eco House shows youth that there is beauty in their community. The program runs two flower farms, where high school students learn about urban agriculture. The House uses agriculture as an outlet to engage with youth and provide positive alternatives to the drugs and gangs that may influence them.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
