FBI Boston honors Kathy Best, the national program coordinator of the Blacks in Government’s youth development project, Future Leaders in American Government or FLAG. Ms. Best approached the FBI in 2019 to support the program locally, and several FLAG youths attended the FBI’s Teen Academy. Ms. Best and the FBI also held a local Youth Leadership Summit—one of several across the nation.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
