Birmingham – Children’s Policy Council of Jefferson County
2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient
FBI Birmingham honors the Children’s Policy Council of Jefferson County. The Council coordinates the Child Trafficking Solutions Project, a statewide coalition of organizations dedicated to combatting human trafficking and child exploitation. Through its efforts, more than 450 law enforcement officers and 1,600 child-serving professionals received training in trafficking prevention last year.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2019 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service.
