The Washington Field Office honors Second Story. The organization provides safe havens and developmental opportunities for children, teens, and families in Northern Virginia. Second Story works closely with the FBI Washington Field office on several programs and bolsters cooperation between local and federal law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
