The Portland Division honors Bags of Love, Inc. The organization recognizes that children are fragile, especially when they are removed from their normal lives due to crisis. Bags of Love provides customized bags packed with necessary items, including handmade quilts. Bags of Love recently started serving victims of human trafficking and child sex abuse.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
