The Norfolk Division honors Dr. Antipas Harris. He is dedicated to racial unity, education, and serving as a liaison between law enforcement and minority and faith communities in Virginia. Harris recently partnered with the Hampton Roads Opioid Working Group, co-founded by FBI Norfolk, to raise awareness about the growing opioid problem. His work has impacted thousands in underrepresented communities.

FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders


In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
