The Newark Division honors Perry Mays, the chairman of the Atlantic County Coalition for a Safe Community. The coalition’s chief focus is to combat crime and violence plaguing Atlantic County, but it also promotes healthy eating habits, sponsors community walks, discusses public safety, and promotes education, and victim advocacy. Mays is truly committed to the safety and welfare of all residents in Atlantic County
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
