The Miami Division honors Charles Dodge. As the city manager of Pembroke Pines, Dodge is responsible for the overall growth and management of the third largest city in Broward County. Dodge built a charter school system from the ground up. He also worked with the FBI to host a youth empowerment summit to promote positive relationships between students and law enforcement officials.

FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders


In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
