The Memphis Division honors Dismas House. With a focus on holistic, client-specific services that empower self-sufficiency, Dismas House provides programs and temporary housing for individuals transitioning from prisons and jails. Residents receive medical and mental health evaluations, dental services, support for sobriety, re-entry counseling, and other services. Dismas House helps make the community safer.

FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders


In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
