The Kansas City Division honors Going to the Dogs, founded by Donna and Jim Wilson. The all-volunteer organization works to strengthen K-9 law enforcement partners throughout Kansas and Missouri. The organization also promotes education and awareness of K-9s and their roles in crime fighting, and it helps agencies obtain K-9s and specialized equipment.

FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders


In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
