The Jacksonville Division honors the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida (ICNEF). The ICNEF has grown to serve thousands of members from more than 30 countries and offers programs that meet critical needs of the local community. The center has also helped build trust between the Muslim community and law enforcement.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
