The Detroit Division honors Youssef Joe Bazzi. For years, Bazzi has offered his banquet hall for community activities, including youth events, blood drives, and public safety awareness trainings. He supports numerous law enforcement groups and helps improve the relationships between law enforcement and the youth and communities they serve. Bazzi also helps the Dearborn Good Fellows give coats to children.
FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders
In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
