2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

The Denver Division honors Rory Tendore, the director of the Eastern Shoshone Juvenile Services Program in Wyoming. Tendore works with others to improve delinquency prevention, juvenile justice, and other youth services programs. She is a member of a child protection team that helps victimized children on the Wind River Indian Reservation, and she works closely with the FBI’s Lander Resident Agency in Wyoming.

FBI Director Recognizes Distinguished Community Leaders


In a ceremony at FBI Headquarters on May 3, 2019, Director Christopher Wray recognized the recipients of the 2018 Director’s Community Leadership Award. These leaders, selected by their area FBI field office, have demonstrated outstanding contributions to their local communities through service. The FBI is grateful for the work of each of these individuals and organizations on behalf of their communities.
