The FBI Violent Crime Task Force needs the public’s help to capture a soggy bank robber who slipped away after robbing the Comerica Bank during the weekend rain storms. The robbery was captured on the bank’s surveillance cameras. If you recognize the bank robber, Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.

The robbery happened at 11:45 a.m. at the bank branch located at 12727 East Freeway in Houston, Texas on Saturday, October 31, 2015. According to tellers, the bank robber approached the counter looking very wet and very nervous. He reached in to his shirt pocket and pulled out a soggy piece of paper tellers believed was intended to be a bank robbery demand note. But the note was so wet, tellers couldn’t read it. The bank robber then switched to making a verbal demand for money and threatened tellers, “I’ll blow everything up.” The bank robber was wearing a black laptop bag against his chest and a black JanSport backpack on his back. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash in various denominations. No one was physically hurt.

The bank robber was described as a black male, 25-30 years old, 6’1” to 6’2” tall, 220 pounds, with a medium build and a dark complexion. He had a round face and a thin mustache. He wore a white long-sleeved, buttoned-down shirt; black dress pants; black shoes; black sunglasses; and a black baseball hat with a red colored bill. He carried a black laptop bag and a black JanSport backpack during the robbery.
