A Houston bank robber is now linked to at least two area bank heists within the past month. The robber is clearly visible wearing a neon construction worker vest in newly released bank surveillance video taken during the latest heist. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identity and arrest of this serial bank robber.

The latest robbery happened at the J.P. Morgan Chase bank located at 8550 Broadway Street in Houston, Texas on Thursday, October 1, 2015. At about 11:45 a.m., the robber entered the bank alone and handed a teller a threatening note demanding money. Fearing for their life, the teller gave the robber some cash. He was last seen running southbound on Broadway Street.

The same robber is linked to last month’s similar robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank located at 5219 Richmond Avenue in Houston, Texas on September 10, 2015. During this robbery, the robber carried a red backpack with white lettering. No weapon was seen and no one was physically hurt during either of the robberies. The robber is described as a black male in his mid-30s, about 5’10” to 6’0” tall, 150 to 160 pounds, with short dark hair. He wore a gray plaid shirt, jeans, a neon construction vest, dark sunglasses, and a dark “Texans” ball cap with white lettering.
