The FBI Violent Crime Task Force needs help identifying a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 5219 Richmond Avenue in Houston, Texas, on Thursday, September 10. After the bank robbery, the bank robber jumped a fence behind the bank and fled on foot. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identity and arrest of the bank robber.

At about 12:35 p.m., the robber entered the bank and placed a note up against the glass window. In the note, the robber demanded cash and threatened to shoot and kill someone if the teller made a noise. The teller gave the robber some cash, and he fled the area on foot, jumping a fence behind the bank. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The robber is described as a black male, about 5’10” to 6’0” tall, 150 to 160 pounds, with short dark hair. He wore a black short-sleeved shirt, black baggy pants, black tennis shoes with bright blue shoe laces, and dark sunglasses. He carried a red back pack with white lettering during the bank robbery.
