Robbery of Chase Bank Branch in Humble

The Humble Police Department and the FBI need the public’s help to identify the man who robbed a Humble bank but left empty handed earlier today. Bank surveillance photographs are at the conclusion of this press release.

At about 1:49 p.m., a man walked into the Chase Bank located at 10011 FM 1960 By-Pass Road West, Humble, Texas. He asked about opening an account and then handed the teller a note demanding money. He left without getting any cash. No weapon was seen. No one was physically hurt.

The bank robber is described as a heavy-set black male, approximately 200-300 pounds, 5’4” to 5’5” tall. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and white and black tennis shoes.
