Metro Bandit Robs Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Houston

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help to identify a bank robber who hopped on a Metro bus after robbing the Wells Fargo Bank located at 14610 Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas, this afternoon. Bank surveillance photographs of the “Metro Bandit” are at the conclusion of this press release.

At about 3:35 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a teller a threatening note that demanded money. The teller complied and gave the robber some cash. The Metro Bandit did not speak during the robbery. No weapon was seen and no one, was physically hurt. The Metro Bandit was last seen getting on an area Metro bus.

The Metro Bandit was described as a black male about 5’4” tall and weighing 220 pounds with a stocky build. He wore a black stocking hat, black shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
