Suspect Dubbed Bandaged Bandit Robs Second Bank

The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a serial bank robber is now linked to a second robbery occurring earlier today at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 11725 South Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas. The robber, once again, robbed the bank while wearing a large bandage covering his left cheek and chin. The same robber is believed to be responsible for a similar bank robbery at the Comerica Bank located at 9997 Almeda Genoa in Houston, Texas, on August 29, 2012. At approximately 2:50 p.m., the robber entered the bank and handed the teller a threatening note that demanded money. The teller gave the man some cash. No one was physically hurt during the robbery. He was seen leaving the area in a dark green sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The “Bandaged Bandit” was described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, 5’10” to 6’2” tall, and weighing 210 to 240 pounds. He wore a large, white medical bandage covering his left cheek and chin; a red shirt; jeans; black baseball cap; and sunglasses.
