Robbery of First Convenience Bank in Houston

The FBI needs your help identifying a bank robber who appeared to casually walk in and out of the HEB grocery store just before and after he robbed the First Convenience Bank located inside the store at 4955 Highway 6 North in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Photographs from the bank’s surveillance cameras are at the conclusion of this press release.
At about 2:44 p.m., the man walked into the store alone and waited in line inside the bank. When it was his turn to approach a teller, he handed the teller a threatening note that demanded money. The teller gave him some cash, and he casually exited the bank and grocery store. He was last seen leaving the area in a dark colored minivan. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
The bank robber is described as a black male, approximately 5’8” tall, 160-170 pounds, with a light-skinned complexion and stubble on his face. The robber was seen driving away in a dark colored minivan.
