Photos Released in Prosperity Bank Robbery

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help in identifying the man who robbed the Prosperity Bank located at 8340 Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas, on Monday, January 30, 2012. Photos taken from the bank’s security cameras are below.

At approximately 2:45 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a teller a note which demanded money. He then lifted his jacket to reveal a handgun hidden in his waistband. The teller provided the man with some cash. He fled on foot. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The bank robber is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, 5’7” - 5’8” tall, clean shaven, with an average build. He wore a black ski cap with “Chicago Bulls” written in red, a dark jacket, and blue jeans. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
