Passion-Marked Bandit Robs Bay Area Bank

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help identifying a man who robbed a the Capital One bank located at 1855 West Bay Area Boulevard in Houston, Texas, earlier today. Witnesses believed the man had a “hickey” or a passion mark, on the left side of his neck. The neck mark can be seen in at least one of the bank’s surveillance photos taken during the robbery.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a threatening note to a teller. While the teller was reading the note, the man verbally threatened her and told her he had a gun. He then told her to “hurry up!” The teller gave the man some cash and he left the bank. No weapon was seen during the robbery and no one was physically hurt.

The bank robber is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, approximately 6’1” tall, 180-200 pounds, with a medium build, a long nose, and acne scars on both his cheeks. He had black, medium length, oily looking hair, which was possibly part of a wig. He wore a black ball cap, black dress shirt, and black pants. Witnesses also said the man had a “hickey” on the left side of his neck and a tattoo between the shoulder blades on his back.
