FBI Houston August 05, 2011
  • Special Agent Shauna Dunlap (713) 936-7638

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help identifying the man who robbed a Houston area bank earlier today. The bank’s surveillance cameras captured some good photographs of the man during the robbery of the Bank of America located at 1550 Bay Area Blvd., in Houston, Texas.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., bank employees were opening the drive-thru building of the bank. As the employee was opening the door to enter, the robber ran up behind the employee and forced the employee into the building. The robber, armed with a handgun, demanded money. When no bills were available, the robber stole the change and fled.

The robber is described as a black male, approximately 30-35 years old, 5’10”-6’00” tall, with a chubby build and a medium complexion. The robber had a light mustache and goatee. He wore a black baseball cap, a red and white striped shirt and blue jeans.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this robber, or any felony suspect. If you have information about this crime, please call the Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 713-222-TIPS (8477), or the Houston office of the FBI at 713-693-5000.
