“Rude Robber” Gets Away with Cash from Chase Bank

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help in identifying a “Rude Robber” who got away with cash after robbing the Chase Bank located inside the Fiesta grocery store at 9419 Mesa in Houston, Texas, on 10/27/2010. The bank surveillance photograph is below.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., the man entered the Fiesta store and walked to the Chase bank located inside. Rudely, he cut in front of several customers to confront a teller. He held up a note which demanded money, then threatened her as he went to his waist as if he had a weapon. No weapon was observed. After the threats, the teller provided the man with some cash. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The Rude Robber is described as a black male, early 40’s, approximately 5’6” to 5’7” tall, with a muscular build and a dark complexion. He was clean-shaven and wore a red and white striped polo shirt, jeans, and a light blue North Carolina Tar Heels baseball cap.
