A press conference will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, December 7) at the FBI’s Honolulu field office located at 300 Ala Moana Blvd. in Honolulu beginning at 10:30 a.m. The purpose of the press conference is to unveil an enhanced reward and new developments in the hunt for a serial bank robber dubbed the “Backpack Bandit.” Representatives from the Honolulu Police Department and CrimeStoppers Honolulu will also be participating.
The press conference is open to all news organizations. Credentialed media must be escorted into the FBI space and should meet on the Halekauwila side of the Prince Kuhio Federal Building promptly at 10:15 a.m. to be escorted upstairs by FBI personnel.
