Wells Fargo Bank Robbery in El Paso

At approximately 10:40 a.m., a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank located at 4600 Woodrow Bean, El Paso, Texas, approached a teller, displayed a weapon that was tucked in his pants, and demanded money. The teller complied and handed the man an undisclosed amount of money. The man exited the bank shortly after and fled on foot in an easterly direction away from the bank.
The subject is described as a Hispanic male, mid-20s, 5’7”-5’8” tall, with a slender build. He was wearing black pants, black shirt and tie, dark sunglasses, and an oversized “Bulls” baseball cap. He has a white diamond earring in his right ear and tattoos on the right side of his neck. He was also carrying a red back pack with a black draw string.
This case is being investigated by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of the bank and/or has information about the robbery, please contact the FBI at 915-832-5000.
