Bank of America Bank Robbery Solved

The FBI, working off an anonymous tip, completed its investigation and arrested CHRISTINE MESSERLI yesterday in connection with the September 2, 2011 robbery at the Bank of America bank located at 685 Sunland Park Drive in west El Paso. MESSERLI, 48 years old and unemployed, was arrested without incident at her residence and is being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility. She had her initial appearance today at 2:30 p.m. where she was charged with one count of bank robbery and was detained without bond pending a detention hearing later this week.

This case was worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department.
