Seeking Information on Wells Fargo Bank Robbery in El Paso

At approximately 4:24 this afternoon, a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank located at 5130 N. Lee Trevino, El Paso, Texas. The man approached a teller, claimed to have a weapon and demanded money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money. It is unknown in which direction the suspect fled.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 50’s, approximately 5’7” and 175-180 lbs, medium build and fit.

He was wearing a navy blue baseball cap, white and light grey long sleeve shirt with a black stripe on the sleeves and chest, dark blue jeans, white tennis shoes, black sunglasses on the bill of his cap and a heavy mustache.

This case is being worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of this bank and has information about the robbery, please call the FBI at 915-832-5000.
