Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank in El Paso

At approximately 11:07 a.m. today, a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank located at 655 E. Redd Road, El Paso, Texas. The man approached a teller and handed her a note demanding money. The teller handed over an undetermined amount of money. The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5’9” tall, with short dark hair, a goatee, and heavy-set build.

He was wearing a beige baseball hat with the logo SAUZA, a white short-sleeve polo-style top with dark colored horizontal stripes, blue jeans, and dark-colored athletic shoes. The suspect was also carrying an olive green shoulder bag.

This case is being worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of this bank and has information about the robbery, please call the FBI at 915-832-5000.
