Tattoo Bandit Robs Eastside Bank

At approximately 11:30 this morning, a man walked into the Bank of the West located at 10400 Montwood, El Paso, Texas. The man approached a teller and handed her a note demanding money. The teller handed over an undetermined amount of money. The suspect left the note and then fled on foot, and was last seen running south on Yarbrough.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late 30s, approximately 5’3” with a chubby build, approximately 160-170 pounds. He was wearing a gray t-shirt with a star on the front, with blue cargo shorts, dark sunglasses, and a blue baseball cap. The suspect has a tattoo on his right forearm of a lady with long hair and another tattoo on his left arm but no description of this tattoo.

This case is being worked by the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, which includes the El Paso Police Department and El Paso Sheriff’s Department. If anyone was in the vicinity of this bank and has information about this robbery, please call the FBI at 915-832-5000.
