City Sees 15th Bank Robbery

About 4:00 p.m. today, a lone man dubbed the “Hoodie Robber,” walked into the First Savings Bank, 909 North Mesa, El Paso, Texas, and robbed the bank. He approached the first teller window and demanded all the money. While displaying a semiautomatic handgun, he walked to a second and then third teller window, taking all the money. He then told the bank employees to get on the ground and he fled the bank on foot. This is the 15th bank robbery of the year.

Subject Description:

  1. Hispanic male, in his 20s
  2. About 5’8”, thin build
  3. Spoke English with no accent
  4. Clothing: Dallas Cowboys cap under a gray hoodie with a black scarf around his face and black gloves. He possibly wore a black jacket on top of the hoodie. He was also wearing jeans and tennis shoes.
  5. Carrying a black, soft-sided briefcase or bag.
