Denver metro area law enforcement agencies and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) are investigating seven recent bank robberies. It is believed that all were committed by the same individual.

This individual has been dubbed the “Good Grammar Bandit” by the RMSSTF. The demand notes presented by this individual to the victim tellers are typed with proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

This subject is described as a black male in his 30s, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” in height, with a slender build.

The Good Grammar Bandit is believed to be responsible for the following bank robberies:

The subject enters the bank, presents a demand note, and flees on foot.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
