FBI Denver December 03, 2013 |
The Denver Police Department, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating 13 armed robberies in the Denver metro area.
The FBI is investigating these robberies as a potential violation of the Hobbs Act-Title 18, United States Code, 1951, which is a federal statute that prohibits the obstruction of interstate commerce by robbery or extortion.
These individuals have been dubbed Milli Vanilli Bandits by law enforcement because of their choice of wigs worn during the robberies.
