Robbery of Key Bank Branch in Centennial

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) are investigating a bank robbery.

20290 East Smoky Hill Road
Centennial, Colorado
02/16/2012, 2:46 p.m.

The two suspects described below entered the bank wearing masks, armed with a baseball bat and a yellow crow bar. They demanded money and fled.

Suspect #1 is a white male, mid-20s, approximately 5’9” tall, 175 pounds, with a heavy build.

Suspect #2 is a white male, mid-20s, approximately 5’9” tall, 145 to 150 pounds, with a medium build.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
