“3-2-1 Bandits” Suspected of Robbing Bellco Credit Union

The Englewood Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) are investigating a bank robbery.

The robbery occurred at:

Bellco Credit Union
7275 South Havana Street
Englewood, Colorado
12/10/2010, 5:55 p.m.

The suspect is described a female, approximately 5’0” in height, 25 to 35 years of age, with a medium to stocky build.

The suspect was armed with a handgun.

The RMSSTF believes this to be one of the “3-2-1 Bandits.”

The suspect demanded money and fled the bank.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
