Robbery of US Bank in Lone Tree

On Friday, December 18, 2009, at approximately 1:40 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at US Bank, 7250 Park Meadows Dr., Lone Tree, Colorado.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'3" to 6'4", 130 lbs.

Photographs are not available at this time.

The suspect presented a demand note, received cash, and fled.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison term for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
