Bank Robbery in Broomfield

The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) and Broomfield Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank located at 2 Garden Center, Broomfield, Colorado, just before 9:30 a.m. this morning. The robber entered the bank with a back pack and approached a teller. The robber passed a bank robbery demand note and verbally indicated he had a bomb in the back pack. No bomb or other weapon was observed. The robber fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. 

The robber was generally described as:

  • White male
  • 18 to 20 years of age
  • Approximately 180 to 190 pounds
  • Approximately 6’00”
  • Wearing a dark short sleeve, collard shirt with a white long sleeve t-shirt underneath; dark pants; dark beanie cap with white stripes.
